At 3 pm, National StockExchange’s Nifty was at 5193.50, up 36.85 points or 0.71 per cent. Ittouched intra-day high of 5212.70 and low of5147.95.
Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensexwas at 17276, up 80.19 points or 0.47 per cent. It touched a high of 17389.15and low of 17240.35 in trade so far.
NEWDELHI: Boosted by strong sales in both domestic and overseas markets, Bajaj Autotoday reported an over four-fold jump in its standalone net profit for thefourth quarter ended March at Rs 528.65 crore, as against Rs 130.21 crore in thesame year-ago period.
Totalstandalone income during the quarter stood at Rs 3,399.45 crore against Rs1,883.41 crore in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, which is ajump of 80.49 per cent.
Thecompany also announced a dividend of 400 per cent at Rs 40 per share for thefiscal, as against 220 per cent it paid in the previousyear.
