MUMBAI:Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd said on Tuesday it may raise at least 5 billion rupees byJuly end and will choose to raise the money through retail debentures if theliquidity tightness persists after that.
"We will continue to raisemoney from both money markets and banks...500 crores rupees (5 billion rupees)is the minimum economic size of a retail issue if we were to choose that," saidRajeev Jain, CEO of the non-banking finance company told Reuters.
"We want to watch till July end, and then go for a retail issue ifthe situation demands it," he added.
