Even for 2011-2012 - looking at theoverall scenario - we think that two wheelers, Bajaj Auto in particular,should clock something like 15-17% volume growth. So based on that, it gives usa good confidence because the ROE is very good - it is a 40% plus. Overallvaluation parameters make this company extremely reasonable,particularly when viewed against the fact that the markets that look soexpensive.

The CNX Midcap Index gained 2.59%.Bharti Airtel was the biggest winner among index stocks with a 16.3% gain. Theother index stocks to go up included Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, DLF andHDFC Bank with gains between 6.0% and 4.7%.

Automobile sales in India grew by 31.42 per cent during June, benefiting from favourable macro economic conditions and new models launches across categories, including cars, two-wheelers and commercial vehicles.
According to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), total sales for all categories stood at 12,05,990 units against 9,17,645 units in the year-ago month, up 31.42 per cent.
Speaking to reporters, SIAM President Pawan Goenka said the industry had benefited from a good overall macroeconomic environment in the first three months of the fiscal.
