Hennig currently builds enclosures and fuel tanks to be compatible with CAT, Cummins, Detroit Diesel (MTU Onsite Energy), Kohler and all other leading brands of power generators.
Hennig has introduced a new online configurator for equipment builders, consulting/specifying engineers, architectural spec writers, contractors and others involved in the delivery of power generation systems.
Using Hennigs website and fully-integrated computer software, spec writers can designing enclosure and fuel tank configurations using every parameter for all popular power gen unit brands.
All performance and dimensional requirements are menu-selected, along with all electric, HVAC, exhaust system, roof, door, and materials of construction on the enclosure. Likewise, for the sub-base diesel fuel tank, all size and accessory specs are selectable on a downloadable .xls menu for easy completion. Upon completion of the selections, a .doc is generated for the enclosure spec and another for the fuel tank.

Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection officials are weighing possible punitive measures against the Southeastern Area Transit District team in connection with an ongoing diesel fuel leak at the Preston facility.
Approximately 1,000 gallons of fuel leaked from a faulty underground transfer line connected to a 10,000-gallon diesel fuel tank. Fuel was leaking for at least two weeks before the problem was discovered late last week, said Brian Emanuelson, DEP emergency coordinator.
Punishments could include a fine or the levying of a consent order, Gardner said. The main focus of any action would be to ensure it would not happen again, he said.
Workers at the building were unaware of the spill, SEAT general manager Ella Bowman said. Several townspeople did smell the fuel off of Route 2-A, leading the town’s road foreman to search and eventually discover the problem.

A JEA employee notified the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office that he'd been tipped that another JEA employee had used a flatbed trailer with four fuel tanks to steal diesel fuel, according to a police report. An incident was caught on camera, but it wasn't clear who was driving the JEA vehicle that was pulling the flatbed trailer.
Police did a stakeout at the Northside Generating Station on Heckscher Drive. At about 9 p.m. Thursday, police observed two people at the station as three containers were filled with diesel fuel in a secured JEA area at the generating station, according to the police report. McGinley and Brown were arrested during the stakeout. The value of the containers and fuel stolen was about $2,085.
McGinley works at the Northside Generating Station in material handling for JEA and made $69,846 a year, plus $38,385 in overtime, according to the Times-Union salary database for public employees. Brown wasn't listed in the database.

This is one of the best midsize sedans ever. It's pricey. And maybe it's a bit silly to lease one when there are so many worthy, less-expensive midsize sedans available, including a couple of diesel offerings from Volkswagen (the Jetta TDI sedan and Jetta TDI SportWagen, both with base prices under $30,000). But none of those has the driving feel of the BMW 335d. It may be okay to be a little bit silly for this one. Check your discretionary spending account.
The 335d driven for this column comes with a standard 3-liter, 24-valve, double-overhead cam, twin-turbocharged, in-line six-cylinder diesel engine (265 horsepower, 425 foot-pounds of torque). It has a six-speed transmission that can be operated automatically or manually.
